Marriage

Genesis 2:18
"And Jehovah God said, It is not good for the man to be alone, I will make him a helper as his counterpart."
Adam, the first man created by God is given Eve as his wife.
Therefore, marriage is ordained by God.

Again God talks about marriage in the New Testament.
Ephesian 5:31 "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh."

Hebrews 13:4a
"Let marriage be held in honour among all ..."
Marriage is delightful in the eyes of God.

In the view of the Christian, marriage is a lifetime matter.

Marriage only can be broken by death or fornication.
Divorce only can be allowed when the partner commits adultery.
And to divorce for any other reason is also to commit adultery.
Matthew 19:9 "But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her who has been divorced commits adultery."

Marriage is sacred and arranged by God.
I shall by no means to look for my own spouse.
Just leave it to the Lord =)
