Theater Mask

I'm sorry that I didn't manage to update this blog on time! This will definitely affect May on the next week. I sincerely apologize to May and also our invisible audience, if any, of course.

I believe everyone of us would like to show a certain side of ourselves to the world. We might not see it so apparently, but if you see it on social medias or online communication platforms, you'd see the obvious difference. Take a simple example, most of us would like to post some photos which we like to represent ourselves, and we'd always call them profile photos. Those photos are representing the side of us which we wanna show. In other words, we tend to hide ourselves from being seen in some other ways. Take the same example again, some people like to take their own photos from tall angles. This photo shooting technique would make an illusion of looking slimmer. Frankly, I saw these and am still seeing these especially on teenage girls' profile. No offense, it's just the matter of fact.

On a side note, do you know people can still observe your behavior although you're only showing certain side of you in front of the others? (This makes me think of Ms Lim, my Anthropology lecturer in INTI International College Subang. She's a very good observant, more or less due to her profession.)

Just as most of the people, I don't like people to have perspective on me which is way different than I expect. However the fact is, different people have different aspect on different things. I guess I need to overcome this little dilemma, which always brings me unnecessary disappointment.

p/s: Don't make the others' perspective to block your way, including your own perspective.
